Public health urges measles vaccinations after UK outbreak

Public health officials are urging people to get vaccinated against measles after the death of a child at Alder Hey hospital.

Cases are rising in London and Merseyside, though none have been recorded on Island yet.

The government here is recommending people get two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, which gives protection for life.

Those most at risk include babies and small children, pregnant women, and people with weakened immunity
