The Chief Minister has urged the public not to criticise government spending, before knowing all of the facts.
Allan Bell said it is important that the public fully understands the background behind government’s expenditure decisions.
His comments come as the Department of Infrastructure prepares to ask Tynwald to approve three million pounds for new baggage handling facilities at the airport.
Speaking to 3FM, Mr Bell said government did try to explain the rationale behind spending decisions:
