    Ramsey Grammar School pupil achieves six A* grades

    It was good news all round yesterday as the Island's A-level students celebrated a record set of results.

    Although some students were still in limbo with their chosen University it's reported the greater majority have got into their first choice.
     
    The average UCAS points score stands at 303, representing an average of three grade Bs per student.
     
    Co-ordinating Adviser for 11-19 Education Paul Craine told us why he thinks grades have improved so much over the decades:
