
A local authority in the north of the Island says it's nearing the end of a project to replace its sodium streetlights with LED technology.
Ramsey Commissioners say workers are now starting the final phase of work, which aims to improve safety and save money on energy and maintenance.
Almost 550 lights still have to be changed over, and the board says it hopes to have the work finished by July.
It says workers will be out and about changing the lights over, but there'll be a scheduled break during the TT festival.
