Ramsey post office plans collapse

Plans to keep Ramsey's post office in the town's courthouse building have collapsed.

A consortium set up the Ramsey Courthouse Ltd. group, with proposals to run a sub post office from the building given the green light earlier this year.

However a stalemate over the contract means this will no longer be happening.

Isle of Man Post Office vice chairman Tony Wild explained why the talks broke down:
