A famous feline resident of Ramsey has been honoured by residents of his town.
Thomas the Ramsey Town Cat has received the title of freedom of the town.
The motion was proposed at a Ramsey Town Commissioners meeting last night with all bar one voting in favour on honouring Thomas.
Arrangements are now being made for a ceremony that will bestow Thomas a livery collar cat chain.
