There's 'no excuse' for animal cruelty, say the Mann Cat Sanctuary, following three recent incidents.
The organisation took to Facebook after a cat, now called Annie, was left in a dustbin soaked in diesel and oil.
She's believed to have been there for some time, but is now looking much better and is being looked after by the sanctuary.
It adds that this is the third cruelty case in the last few weeks, after a feral cat was shot and another put in a closed basket and left in a cold bunker.
The Mann Cat Sanctuary says there's no excuse for these situations as their phone is always answered and nobody is ever judged, as the cat's welfare is always their priority.
