The Department of Infrastructure says it's carried out record levels of road repairs in the past year.
The DOI's department plan is due to be discussed when Tynwald sits in December.
In it, Highway Services says it's delivered record levels of surface treatments to extend the life of roads and avoid the need for major roadworks.
The document says last year there were just under 30 miles of surface dressing, micro asphalt, overlays and midi paving work.
