The Tourism Department says they owe it to locals for helping them accommodate TT visitors.
Members of the community called the TT helpline and offered their spare rooms to stranded bikers.
Head of Tourism Angela Byrne says the local effort shows how strong the island is.
She says the visitors can now safely return home after a positive experience:
