Residents near a Douglas school say plans to move a new year group into a mobile classroom will mean more noise, traffic and a loss of privacy in their properties.
The Department of Education has applied to put a new classroom at Ballaquayle School on Thorny Road in Douglas.
In its application, it says it wants to cater for 7 and 8 year olds of Year 3 on the site.
But a number of residents in Snugborough Road, Thorny Road and Stoney Road have all lodged objections with planners.
