Resignation tendered as Robertshaw cites no confidence

Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw has resigned saying he has no confidence in government.

He has handed back the reins of the Cabinet Office - as a result he is no longer part of the Council of Ministers

The East Douglas MHK says he wasn't happy with the rate and pace of reform in government and says the current mind-set is inadequate.

Tomorrow the Budget for the next financial year will be revealed - Mr Robertshaw says he will be supporting it but he couldn't continue in the role any longer:
