The Island’s leading judiciary figures have been paying tribute to a local reporter who had been a staple on the courtrooms press bench for the past 40 years.
Esther Richmond passed away earlier this week following a recent illness.
Described as one of the Island’s real characters Esther worked for the papers, providing court reports for 3FM also.
His Honour the Deemster Doyle counted Esther as a personal friend and thanked her for the contribution she made to the Island.
