Retail fraudster pleads guilty to third charge

A retail manager has admitted a third offence of defrauding Marks and Spencer.

Andrew Ian Corrie pleaded guilty to two counts of the offence last week, but had entered a 'no plea' response to the third charge.

However, on Thursday June 20, in front of magistrates, Corrie, who lives at Lakeside Road in Douglas, changed that plea to guilty.

The offences are said to involve the defendant replacing bar code labels in Marks and Spencer goods to obtain higher refunds.

The 53 year old will be sentenced in summary court on August 15 after a probation report has been prepared.
