    Revalidation plea to Island's nurses and midwives

    Nurses and midwifes on the Isle of Man who've stopped practising are being urged to complete a revalidation process. 

    The Department of Health and Social Care is encouraging the medical professionals to sign up as bank workers to clock up the hours needed. 
     
    Revalidation is mandatory and must be done every three years - it was introduced for doctors in 2012 and for nurses and midwives in April this year. 
     
    The department says it will also pay for development training - chief nurse Linda Radcliffe explains why it's so important:
