Rise in Island children visiting A&E

The amount of children visiting the Accident and Emergency department is on the rise.

In a question for written reply, MHK for Douglas North John Wannenburgh asked how many under-18s made a trip to the hospital each year over the past four years.

The Health and Social Care Minister Lawrie Hooper replied that this year 6,149 kids had to go to A&E so far.

That's 117 more than the same time period last year and 444 more than in 2022.
