Robin Gibb recovering at home

Bee Gee and Island resident Robin Gibb has been discharged from hospital in the UK after receiving treatment for inflammation of the colon.

 

He was rushed to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford last Thursday suffering from acute abdominal pain.

 

Its been a reoccurring issue for Robin who underwent surgery for a blocked intestine last year, the same condition which led to the death of his twin brother Maurice in 2003.

 

A press release on the singers website has revealed that he is now at home in the UK recovering and plans to slowly resume work over the next couple of days.
