Robinson’s commitment to promoting locally-grown produce ‘remains unwavering.’
That’s according to a statement from the business following the announcement that Tesco has bought all of the Island’s Shoprite stores.
Robinson's has been a supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables to Shoprite for nearly 50 years, along with fresh fish produce from The Fish Market and flowers.
Chairman John Horsthuis says their foremost concern is ensuring their staff members are well taken care of, alongside local suppliers.
Managing Director Janna Horsthuis adds that they firmly believe that supporting the Manx economy is paramount and so will continue expanding their offerings of Manx produce.
