An Island rotary club is thanking the community for its generosity towards its Christmas appeal.
Ahead of the festive period, the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann has been calling on residents to support its shoebox appeal, aimed at providing things for those who may not be as fortunate this Christmas.
The organisation announced this week around 80 shoeboxes have been sent off-Island to the Rotary international distribution centre to be delivered to those in need.
Officials there are thanking all those who took part in bringing Christmas cheer to those in need at this time of year.
