People who are struggling to cope over the New Year period are being urged to contact the Samaritans.
The Isle of Man branch of the charity says this time of year can be particularly difficult - it says it wants people to know there is someone there for them.
On average volunteers here help 26,000 people each year by fielding almost 23,000 calls.
