Isle of Man Samaritans is reaching out to local companies to help improve the emotional wellbeing of staff in the workplace.
The branch is offering to deliver free workshops to local businesses, and will focus on building resilience, the importance of emotional wellbeing and remind people Samaritans are available 24/7.
Alternatively, an informal chat between a Samaritans volunteer and a company representative can also be arranged.
Lesley Moughtin from the Isle of Man branch of Samaritans explained: ‘We want to encourage local people to look out for friends, family, colleagues and peers. With additional pressures in modern day life both inside and out of the workplace, we all need to keep an eye on one another.'
Any Island organisation interested in a Isle of Man Samaritans wellbeing workshop or informal chat should contact the charity via email on: samaritans@manx.net
