Prisoners on the Island will now be able to record bedtime stories for their children.
The Jurby facility has signed up to the 'Storybook Dads and Mums' scheme, which was started in the UK in 2002 to help kids and parents stay connected.
It means prisoners can record themselves reading a bedtime story using equipment and books supplied by the prison.
The recording is then edited by the Storybook charity and sent back for the individual to give to their child.
