The government says a decision about reopening schools in the face of more bad weather will be made on Tuesday morning.
Further wintry showers are expected overnight, with a yellow weather warning in place until midday on Tuesday.
In an update, the Department of Education, Sport and Culture says it's still hoping conditions will be safe enough for pupils to go to school.
But it says it'll review conditions and issue an update by 7am.
