The Island's secondary schools will be switching exam systems for science and history.
Following a review of IGCSE and GCSE courses, school leaders have supported moving science and history from Cambridge Assessment International Education.
The new specifications will be graded from 9-1, rather than A*-G, and will be implemented from September.
Current Year 10 and 11 students who are halfway through their GCSE course will not be affected.
