An 86 year old man whose dog was seized by police has won part of a court case against the Constabulary - but won't be getting damages.
Bronson the Doberman was seized by police last March after members of the public made a string of complaints about him, but eventually returned to Richard Ean Gorry Wilson in December.
Mr Gorry sued police, and in a judgment Deemster Needham found the pet was legally taken by officers, but its detention between September and December was unlawful.
But he dismissed a damages claim, saying he had no evidence before him about that aspect of the case.
