The Sea Terminal can't be used as a bus terminal for the Island because it's not suited to the task.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall, in response to a written Tynwald question by MHK Joney Faragher.
He explained tests showed single and double decker buses couldn't be positioned safely, and the building would have to undergo alterations.
His department needs extra cash to explore using the Sea Terminal as a temporary terminal or to improve the the existing facility on Lord Street.
