Ramsey Town Commissioners have launched a project to regenerate the prom with works of art.

Five shelters are being painted by local artists after funding was secured from the Isle of Man Arts Council.

The first shelter (pictured) was painted by Beth Louella and features a 12th century Queen and a modern Manx woman.

Her design also incorporates local animals, the sea, and Ramsey landmarks.

The second shelter will be painted by artist Adam Berry.

Commissioners are now hoping to get further sponsorship for the remaining shelters.
