The Isle of Man Ship Registry has said it is keeping a close eye on what’s happening to a Manx registered vessel which has been seized by pirates.
The Greek owned Energy Centurion ship was hijacked by pirates on Tuesday near to Lome in West Africa.
24 Russian and Ukrainian crew members are onboard but it’s unknown how many pirates boarded.
It’s believed the boat is now heading towards Nigeria and that it’s been targeted for the gasoil it is carrying.
