Shooter and cyclist selected to carry Manx flag at Commonwealth Games

Shooter Tim Kneale will carry the Manx flag at the opening ceremony of this year's Commonwealth Games.

The games will open at Celtic Park in Glasgow on the 23rd July - when the Manxman will be given the honour of leading Team Isle of Man.

Cyclist Jonny Bellis will carry the flag at the closing ceremony at Hampden Park on August 3rd.

Kneale will be competing in the double trap discipline, and is hoping to win another medal - having recently set a new world record score.

He says being asked to fly the flag is a highlight of his career:
