Don't use Sky Lanterns this festive period.
That's the message from the Office of Fair Trading and the Island's Fire Service - which says lanterns are still being used, despite their sale being made illegal in 2015.
In a joint statement, both organisations say they can easily catch fire, are a threat to wildlife, can damage crops and can create litter.
The lit lanterns have also been confused as flares in the past - resulting in false call outs for emergency services.
