Social issues need to be tackled 'in partnership' says Chief

 

That's the opinion of Onchan MHK Rob Callister who yesterday quizzed the Chief Minister on his plans to remove people's dependence on the food bank. 

 

In the House of Keys Howard Quayle confirmed he's tasked the Social Policy and Children's Committee of the Council of Ministers with tackling the issue. 

 

He said the benefits system has a 'key role to play' and said CoMIN will also look at how it can be made more flexible and responsive to people's changing needs.
