Ratepayers in the south of the Island look set to more than double their contributions towards the Southern Swimming Pool.
The funding for the Castletown facility is set to be discussed by Tynwald members when the court sits later this month.
The pool's board says because of pandemic closures, maintenance and increases in fuel costs, it's facing major financial difficulty.
As a result, the Department of Infrastructure is proposing to raise rates support from 2.5p in the pound to 6p next year.
