Fundraisers in the south of the Island have raised almost £9,000 for the Royal British Legion.
The Port Erin committee of the RBL collected £8,797 over the recent remembrance fortnight.
Volunteers had a constant presence outside shops in the village, carried out door to door collections, collected church donations and held a number of events at the Memorial Hall.
