The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is pleading with people not to go into closed glens.
On Facebook, DEFA says Molly Quirk's Glen in Groudle and lower Silverdale Glen in Ballasalla are both closed after recent storms which left significant damage.
The department says people are ignoring the signs and still going into fenced-off areas, which have fallen trees, land slips and dangerous paths.
It hopes to it can reopen both glens in the coming weeks.
