Steps being taken to improve animal welfare law

A local woman's campaign to improve animal welfare on the Island will progress over the next 10 days.

Roseleen Harrison submitted a petition at last year's Tynwald Day ceremony - she wants our legislation to be brought in line with the UK.

A select committee was set up as a consequence - it will sit this Friday and again next week.

Amongst those giving evidence will be principal vet at the Milan Practice Ray Cox - he says it's about finding a solution that's right for the Isle of Man:
