Strong winds bring down power cable in the South

The strong winds have brought down a power cable in the South of the Island resulting in 175 homes being without power.

Since the initial cut 121 homes have had their power returned, however 54 are still without.

The majority were able to return to normal after the work teams were able to isolate the problem to a specific area.

It's expected it will take at least another 2 hours before the power is reinstated.
