Students prepare for festival of plays

Three of the Island's secondary schools will take part in a festival of plays as part of the Island of Culture year-long celebration.

Ramsey Grammar School will perform 'The Crucible', 'Stone Cold' performed by Castle Rushen High School and Ballakermeen acting out 'Too Fast' - an ensemble comedy.

Emma Callin from the Art's Council says it will be the first time some students are performing on the Gaiety stage.

Castle Rushen will perform first on Tuesday, followed by Ramsey Grammar on Wednesday and finally Ballakermeen on Thursday.
