A busy road in Douglas is shut from today.
Summerhill, at the Northern end of Douglas promenade, is shut for works on a gas main.
Isle of Man Energy had begun the replacement work earlier this year but paused while the Manx Grand Prix went ahead.
The road is due to be closed between the promenade and Blackberry Lane until December 1.
