Tynwald has approved a change to Sure's licence - allowing it the right to install and maintain equipment on private and public land.
The amendment went through the court this week, giving the company 'code powers' under the Telecommuncations Act 1984.
Currently only Manx Telecom have such powers, allowing them to install and maintain its own telecommunications equipment.
In Tynwald this week it was agreed Sure should have the same rights applied to its licence:
13 arrested in drink-drive campaign
Laxey road shut until January
Former Motor Museum goes on the market
No Onchan Park plan, say commissioners
Laxey campsite to get campervan improvements
Local authority: don't suffer in silence at Xmas
Government reminder over salt bins
Weather warning in place for high tides
