Emergency Services were called to a fire yesterday morning.
Just after 9am firefighters responded to reports of smoke issuing from a flat in lower Pulrose.
When crews arrived they found the occupant of the smoke-logged flat wasn't in.
The cause of the blaze was a tea towel left on a hot hob.
The towel was alight and crews stayed for approximately 15 minutes ventalating the property.
