Thinking of standing for election? If you win, you may soon be able to swear an oath of allegiance to King Charles rather than the late Queen - and do it in Manx.
During this week's House of Keys sitting, Cabinet Office Minister David Asfhord will ask members to back the first reading of a new law governing the Island's election process.
Among the changes are revised oaths to be taken by new MHKs, which could be made in Manx instead of English.
The House of Keys sits from 10am on Tuesday, October 28 in Legislative Buildings in the Island's capital.
