A weather warning will be in force for three days at the weekend.
According to Ronaldsway Met Office a yellow weather warning for severe gales will be in place from 6pm on Saturday until 12am on Tuesday.
Forecasters say there will be a 'significant' spell of unsettled weather with spells of heavy rain, wintry showers and snow on higher ground.
Adverse conditions are expected to affect the whole Island - with a risk of minor structural damage and some travel disruption.
Detailed warnings will be issued nearer the time.
