Tony Wild elected to LegCo

A senior banker has become the latest member of Tynwald.

Earlier today Tony Wild was elected as an MLC, polling 16 votes to Brian Rae’s five in the House of Keys vote.

There was one spoilt paper.

Mr Wild is head of priority services at Standard Bank and takes the seat which was vacated by the now President of Tynwald Clare Christian. He will be a sitting member until February 2013.
