A report has laid out the bleak future for the National Insurance Fund.
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare commissioned the UK Government Actuary Department to carry out the research.
It shows that the fund will peak around 2036/37 and then begin its sharp decline.
Minister Teare says he hopes this will put an end to detractors in the House of Keys:
