    Trout re-introduced after stream pollution

Summerhill Glen has been restocked with trout after a large number were killed by pollution last year.

The Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture says the glen has been resupplied with male and female brown trout - in the hopes of repopulating the 140 lost.

It comes following a  'detergent-based pollutant'  killed most of the fish in the upper stream of the glen last September.

The department is reminding people to be vigilant - adding the likes of detergent, oils, pesticides and concrete washings are lethal to marine life.
