The Steam Packet Company says the number of passengers coming to the TT has risen by almost 17 per cent in the past six years.
The ferry firm has revealed this year it carried 39,400 passengers between the Wednesday before practice week to the Friday of race week.
And it says in 2018, that figure was just 33,799.
The Steam Packet says it's seen an increase of five per cent on last year's figure - which was only beaten by 2007's centenary celebrations.
