    Tynwald March sitting this morning

Proposals for a new sea services agreement for the Island will go before Tynwald members this morning.

If approved, the 25-year agreement would replace the current one and - should it be signed off in May - come into effect in January 2020.

Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot MHK, is also expected to make a statement on climate change mitigation during the session.

On a busy schedule, there are also 12 questions for oral answer and eight for written reply to be considered - the court convenes from 10.30am at Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
