Tynwald President sends condolence message to Norwegian Parliament

The new President of Tynwald Claire Christian has extended Tynwald’s condolences to the President of the Norwegian Parliament, in the light of the atrocities carried out over the weekend.

The combined death toll now stands at 76 following the bombing in Oslo and shootings in Utoeya.

The President Mr Dag Terje Andersen and his wife were recently guests of honour during the Tynwald Day Celebrations.

Mrs Christian said on behalf of Tynwald and the Manx People I wish to convey our concern for your country and extend our condolences to all how have suffered loss.
