Tynwald reconvenes by answering raft of questions

It's a mixed bag of questions levelled at CoMin today as Tynwald reconvenes following the summer break.

There are 38 questions on the agenda, including a query on property-related tax breaks.

Minister for Economic Development Laurence Skelly is moving that the Enterprise Scheme be approved.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran wants members to consider placing restrictions on the cost of easy-access low-priced alcohol.

Fellow Onchan member Zac Hall is questioning International Development Committee fund losses due to crime.

The sitting began at 10:30am - members are expected to be engaged in the chamber all day.
