UCM drops three degree courses

University College Isle of Man is no longer offering its history and heritage degree, in addition to dropping two other undergraduate courses.

Prior to the Easter break, degrees in Health and Social Care and Creative Practice were also removed from the college's syllabus.

Onchan MHK Julie Edge had asked the question in the House of Keys, expressing concern that students were now only left with the option to study off-island,

Education Minister Daphne Caine explained the reasoning behind the decision, citing lack of demand from low numbers of applicants.
