The Island's new UNESCO status is the 'next step' in boosting the economy.
But that won't happen by chance according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister.
Richard Ronan says the award could attract more tourists but only if we start marketing ourselves better - he says historically we have been 'cynical' about what the Island has to offer.
